The iF material award 2009 judging has taken place.
The competition, presented for the fifth time in 2009, received over 75 entries from manufacturers, designers, engineers and architects in the categories materials, product and processes.
The iF gold award winners shown above:
- Flip-Box (Foldable insulation box), Overath GmbH
- Eyelet & Linkskin (Eyewear), Eye-Biz Pte Ltd.
- Polytol® (Polyurethane lamination resin), Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH
The awarded entries were presented at the special exhibition "Material Trends 2009" at the Hannover industrial fair. Simone de Waart, creative director of Material Sense was invited for the international experts jury together with Karsten Bleymehl of Material ConeXion Cologne and Michael Lanz from Design Afairs.
