Lecture Sustainable Design Conference Tallinn
The Estonian Design Centre (EDL) invited Simone de Waart to lecture on the challenges for designers for sustainable materials usage. Amongst speakers from Tallinn University (about Nano technology), Karen Blincoe from IDIS (about Ethical design), NCS (about the Natural color system) and designer Reet Aus, (on reusable clothing for theatre and fashion), she lectured on rematerialization for sustainable design. Tallinn will be cultural capital in 2011 and announced their international competition on design for sustainable souvenirs.
