Twenty well-known Dutch designers joined up with a professional team of bamboo experts to explore new possibilities for innovative designs using bamboo. The project was initiated by Design Platform Eindhoven, Pablo van de Lugt (TU Delft) and Marco Groenen (architect). Material Sense supported the team in the selection of material designers. Art direction for the presentation Innovative Textiles. A selection of
current low and high tech samples and applications in textiles, was
made to present at the Dutch Design Week 2006. Examples were collected
