This workshop introduces the role of tactility of materials for tangible objects and the interaction with products in general. It is developed as a research through design process that entails a working process from: materials selection and analysis, to materials explorations, experiments set up, user tests and finally a developed redesigned object based on the test results of the materials experience. The redesign focusses on the materialized form, the making, craftsmanship and production of the materialized objects.
