New materials and innovative products originate from existing knowledge and creative problem solving, thus education is needed to supports a profound basis. Our goal is to inspire and create awareness of materials value and get acquainted with their performances in a playful, explorative and sensory way. We advocate the choice of materials as a starting point of the design process and follow our developed Materials Oriented Design approach (MOD).
